    The Website for Chinese and British lawyers. The Legal Forum is an independent association of Chinese and British legal organizations - from Beijing University to The College of Law - whose aim is to increase mutual understanding and trust.

Laws and Regulations of the People's Republic of China

    Laws regarding general business, foreign investment in China, foreign trade laws and laws regarding immigration and entry/exit regulations.

Chinalaw.

    Includes an in-depth analysis of the four different legal jurisdictions in China. The site includes translations of Chinese from the several jurisdictions. Also over thirty legal articles on various topics related to Chinese law.

Website of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C.

    Not a legal site as such. Just bits and pieces that are law related. Enjoyed the visit to the site nonetheless.

    The title is somewhat all encompassing, but it delivers on its promise. Created by Joan Liu, who is associated with the New York University Law School Library.

Law On Line

    Both English and Chinese-language data. Full-text search and retrieval in both languages. Database includes all the laws and regulations, judicial interpretations, case law, judicial statistics and a Chinese legal periodical index. Subscription required for full access.

Library of Congress Country Studies - China.

    A searchable and very detailed book-length portrait including geography, society, economy, transportation, telecommunications, industry, infrastructure, politics, government, law, national security, history, environment, religion, education, health care, and much more.

    Excellent site. Provides legal news, laws and regulations, cases, law journals, a legal forum and more.

Chinese Law Net

    An electronic discussion group devoted to issues of modern Chinese law on the Internet. Provides a very good reference forum for Chinese law research.
