The Parliament of Australia.

    Comprehensive overview of the Australian Parliament, including an explanation of the parliamentary system and the separation of powers between the legislative, executive and judicial branches.

The High Court of Australia.

    Extremely interesting and well organized site which relates in an appealing manner all worth knowing about the High Court. It even includes a virtual tour of the Court's facilities.

    Site administered by the Attorney-General's Department. Offers in depth access to Australian law.

    Federal and High Court cases, databases, law search facilities, live legal news, press releases, legal humor, etc.

High Court of Australia Cases.

    Contains over 6,500 reported and unreported decisions of the High Court of Australia. Decisions handed down after 1947 are in full text. Earlier decisions just have the case name and cases cited. Judgments are generally available within 24 hours of being handed down.

Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA).

    A wealth of information, primarily relating to immigration and citizenship, accessible both by way of index and search engine.
